Paste the URL or the 11-character video ID.

  2. 2

    Choose a language

Optionally enter a language code such as en or vi.

  3. 3

    Read the transcript

The result lists text segments with their start time and duration.

What is a transcript used for?

A transcript is the text of what is said in a video. People use it to search inside videos, write summaries, create subtitles and repurpose content.

Not every video has a transcript, and available languages depend on the video. When none is available the result says so instead of showing made-up text.

Fetch transcripts with the API

Call the same endpoint from code to process many videos for summaries, search or content workflows. The API costs 1.5 credit (about $0.0015) per request.
